The students at Singapore International School in Chiang Mai spent Wednesday 15th September celebrating International Dot Day with a range of artistic and creative activities
Dot Day is a day for arts and creativity which is celebrated at schools around the world. The day was inspired by the fantastic book by Peter H. Reynolds which tells the story of a young student who doesn’t believe she can draw and a wonderfully encouraging teacher who helps her realise her potential.
During the morning lessons the students will be creating dot art and we will collect pictures of all the students’ work to create an online Dot Art Exhibition. The students in our International Primary and Secondary School also had the opportunity to experiment with Augmented Reality (AR) Art.
The Music Department at Singapore International School, SISB, Chiangmai Campus also got involved with the Dot Day activities and the students recorded a great Dot Day Song which can be seen here
